THE first round of Cumbria Junior Cricket League fixtures begins this weekend.

The league is, for the 2008 season, trialling a tiered structure at Under-13 and Under-15 for the very first time, whilst the Under-11 league continues to operate on a regional basis.

The tiered Premier/Division One structure means that every team will have something to play for right up to the end of the season.
